Pound Cake with Cajeta

Ingredients
  • 3 sticks of butter, room temperature
  • 1 (8 oz) package of sour cream
  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 3 cups all purpose (unrefined) flour
  • 6 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease and flour a large bundt pan.
  2. Cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar together for about a minute on medium speed. Add in the vanilla. Beat in the eggs one at a time, alternating with ½ cup flour, beating well after each addition.
  3. Pour batter into bundt pan and bake 1- ½ hours. Serve warm with cajeta, whipped cream, ice cream, or as is!
